We do not start from a blank page
We bring a complete, ready-built library of management system documentation with us. Policies, procedures, registers, risk assessments, audit checklists and training material, already mapped to the clauses of the standard you are going for.
That material is then tailored to the way your business actually runs, rather than your business being reshaped to fit a template. It is the single biggest reason a fixed-price engagement can hold to a predictable timescale: the writing is largely done, so the work is in adapting it, implementing it and building the evidence.
Systems you will actually use
Most ISO consultancy produces clause-numbered documents that mirror the standard and describe nobody's business. They pass an audit and then sit in a folder until the next one.
We work the other way round. We map how work moves through your company, then check that against the standard and fill the gaps. The system that comes out is integrated, as small as it can be, and recognisable to the people who have to use it. If it adds workload or complexity to how you already run, it has been built wrong.
Every procedure is a promise you will be audited against, so fewer and tighter beats more and thorough.
You keep control
Documents are supplied in editable Microsoft Office or Google formats. No proprietary platform, no subscription, nothing you have to keep paying for to read your own system. If you part company with us, you take everything with you and it still works.
Systems can be set up in whatever you already use, whether that is Teams, SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox or Confluence and Jira. Adopting a new platform for a certification project is unnecessary friction.
Remote, onsite, or both
Most of the work is documentation, and documentation work is identical over a video call. Remote is faster to schedule, cheaper, and available anywhere in the UK.
Onsite earns its keep for the initial gap analysis if you have physical operations, for health and safety risk assessment, and for getting a sceptical team on board. We have consultants across the UK and Northern Ireland, and an office in Putney for clients in and around London.
Experienced consultants
Our consultants are qualified lead auditors with substantial experience conducting certification audits, which means they know what an assessor will look for because they have been the assessor. They also keep current with changes to the standards, which is why the update service is part of the package rather than an extra.
What it costs
A fixed price, agreed in writing before any work starts, payable by milestones or interest-free monthly instalments. No open-ended day counting and no rolling retainer with a notice period.
As a rule of thumb it comes in at about the same as an accredited certification body's fee. We will quote the certification body fees alongside ours so you can see the whole cost before you commit. Our ISO consultancy costs page has real figures.
For ad-hoc work that does not suit a package, our day rate is £630, exclusive of VAT at 20%.
Getting started
Tell us your headcount, how many sites you operate from, which standards you need and what is driving the deadline. We will come back with a fixed price and a realistic timescale. For a business under fifty people on one site going for one standard, that is usually eight to twelve weeks.
